Party food etiquette debate goes viral after Mumsnet user asks 'Is it wrong to take leftover food home?' We all have one of them - a friend who gets a little stingy and takes their half eaten plate of sandwiches home with them after a party.But if you'd organised a party and asked people to contribute, is it wrong to assume they'd leave their food and drink contributions behind, or is it to be expected they'd take their own food home?One mum encountered this very situation recently, and shared her thoughts on Mumsnet. The user, CheesedOffChiquita, had planned a surprise party for her friend and asked guests to bring along dishes of their favourite food, along with some drinks.But some guests left the party, instead of leaving their dishes for the other party goers to enjoy they took their food home with them. 'When the party was about halfway through, several of the guests left together but before they did so, they gathered up every single sandwich, cake, mixer and bottle of alcohol leftover from what they'd brought and took it home with them,' she explained.'I couldn't believe they would sit and eat and drink everything that other people had brought with them and then gather up what they'd brought and take it away.'She went on to say

: 'I wouldn't dream of taking things home with me after a party unless it was demanded of me by the host? The Travel Backpack and Tote Diaper Bag is gender neutral, spacious, and really gives a great bang for your buck. This week’s packing list is: This bag is pretty nifty and is similar to the Boken Every Day Bag in that the backpack straps can un-clip and tuck away into the back so that it can be used as a tote. I like convertible bags, and not having straps drag on the ground when I use a bag as a tote is a great feature. This pocket is also great for storing the changing pad to ensure it is handy and ready for use. The inside of this bag has an insulated bottle holder as well as 6 mesh pockets with an elastic band. This makes for a very organized base of the bag when packing up. There are also 2 zippered pockets- one on either side.

The mesh one is quite large and easily accommodates a wet bag and wipes. The other one is great for small things like CJ’s butter, Tide to Go, or lip balm. On the bottom of the bag, between the diapers, there was enough room to add my sippy cup, snack jar, toys, and muslin blanket. There was more than enough room on the top of the bag for extra things like a tula or wrap after loading it up with the essentials. In the front top zippered pocket, I was able to stash my makeup bag, shopping bag, and sunglasses. In the smaller front pockets, a full size wallet, keys, and phone have plenty of room. This is a great bag, for under $50, I really don’t think you can find a better backpack option. The shipping time from China to NYC was under 2 weeks, and it came in perfect condition. It actually shows great workmanship, there wasn’t even a loose thread. It’s very high quality, especially considering the price.
