Skip to main content ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​12805 Birmingham Highway, Milton, GA 30004                   470-254-2870 ​Northwestern Middle School will be electing representatives to serve on the School Governance Council.  We will be electing parent/guardian positions and teacher positions for our spring election.  Our School Governance Council has a leadership role in the governance of the school. The Council works with the principal on the long-term vision and strategy for the school. They are responsible for approving the school's strategic plan and budget recommendations, as well as designing innovative solutions to increase academic achievement and meet the unique needs of our school community.  Elections for the parent/guardian and teacher positions on the School Governance Council will be held March 22nd- 28th. Candidates interested in running for an elected position on the Council must complete a candidate declaration form and submit by Feb 17th.

Candidate forms may be submitted electronically or by mail (get a copy of the form from the school's front office and follow mailing instructions on the back of the form). Passing the PCNSE7 and exhibiting solid professional behavior, are the requirements for becoming a PCNSE7. The formal certification exam is hosted and proctored by the third-party testing company Pearson VUE. Either exam should be taken by anyone who is prepared to demonstrate a deep understanding of Palo Alto Networks technologies. Candidates can be anyone who uses Palo Alto Networks products, including customers, partners, system engineers, systems integrators and support engineers. The Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) is a formal, third-party proctored certification that indicates those who have passed it possess the in-depth knowledge to design, install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot the vast majority of implementations based on the Palo Alto Networks platform.
