I have used Baggallini bags for YEARS, meaning the same bag almost every day. It's not unusual for a Bagallini bag to last 3-4 years. This Excursion Sling didn't last 12 months. The zipper tape frayed in several places. I wouldn't have bothered with the review except I was looking for an old order, and ran across this purchase. Now, considering the price of the bag, I'm upset all over again!! I'm back to using a Baggallini 'Everything Bag' and have been quite satisfied with it's performance.Just ordered it in black. It is lightweight and has a spot for everything I need, and room for extras that I sometimes need. Plus lots of colors! I have had this bag for over a year and keep trying to go back to it because of the design of the bag (sans strap).

The strap is wide, extremely slippery and separates. I have to hold it together with a safety pin! it is IMPOSSIBLE to wear as a shoulder bag but cross body is OK. Even then, the body of the bag tilts upward because of the slippery strap and I keep having to even the balance out. I love the style of the bag itself. An alternative non-slip strap would make it a 5 star, for sure.Size is just right for a weekender bag. Haven't used it yet, but will in a few weeks. A bit expensive for what you get but I'll keep it since it seems like a nice bag. I don't think I'll have problems using it as a carry on based on what I've seen others bring on. Gold La Paz Tote I ordered several Baggallini bags looking for the perfect bag that can hold kid supplies as well as work stuff. This bag seems to be the best fit. It can hold a small laptop or large (think iPad Pro) tablet, plus wallet, keys, phone, etc. The inside pockets work great for easy access to phone and keys. The front pocket is big enough for a couple of diapers and some wipes.

It isn't a very deep purse, only a couple of inches at the bottom, so it will be hard to stuff with bulky things, but that also means it looks more like a purse than a tote (which I wanted). My one wish would be for a divider down the middle of the inside, since that makes it easier to put a laptop in when things are already down on the bottom of the bag. I was looking for a large purse/small tote to use now that I don't need a diaper bag, but still carry around enough stuff. I wanted to like this one, but just couldn't. It is narrower at the top than the bottom, which made accessing things at the bottom of the bag more difficult. The dimensions would fit a small laptop, but the narrow opening at the top made it so that I couldn't actually get it inside. If you aren't trying to carry large objects, this would work well, and can be stuffed pretty full, but know that it doesn't accommodate wide things very well. I ordered 3 Baggallini bags to see which would work out the best.

This was by far the largest of the three, and was definitely more "tote" than "purse." I wanted something smaller than a diaper bag, but big enough to carry around the kid essentials that I always have, plus a tablet or small laptop. I like the Hobo because it's outside pockets are discreet and useful. I'm not a fan of exterior pockets for phones etc., but the Hobo has nice lines that make it practical but stylish. I own two colors in Hobo and two other Baggallini products including the carry-on. Great choice for the vegan.It's roomy but doesn't seem really large. Fits notebook and text book for a class or just an everyday bag like a purse. The only thing I didn't like was the main compartment only has one zipper.

It's a stronger, thicker more expensive looking material. The strap is smooth, not bumpy polyester and the adjustment slider stays where you want it to. I am finally organized. I can quickly and easily access my keys, phone, credit and other cards. The inside key attachment keeps me from looking for them when I'm in a hurry. I use the enclosed bag for makeup and there's plenty of room for all my other important things. I didn't know how I would use the back side zipper opening, but it's great at the airport or grocery store for quick access items. I got it in black with the gold inner lining and it looks great with dressed up or casual clothes. I plan on getting one or two more in different fabric.
