Posted: October 9, 2012 in News Updates FT Farfan Limited through the Cummins Service Department undertook to completely rebuild two Detroit 12v149 engines and generators belonging to our client Carib Brewery. The job was monumental in the sense that this was the first collaborative effort undertaken by the new Cummins Service Department. With a technical staff of four,  they dove in to ensure that the job was done in a professional manner in short time frame. Of course there were glitches that literally took our technical team back to the drawing board, but they worked it all out through their unmatched expert talent. The routine start and load tests were done on both units in house and the  technical staff of Carib Brewery were invited for the final tests. The machines passed with flying colours! At present the units have been loaded and transported back to the Carib Brewery where they have been installed in their bays and are undergoing the final preparations for the official handover.
