Published: 07 August 2014 If you are looking for an "incognito" diaper bag that dad or mom feels comfortable wearing and has all the function and practicality a great diaper bag should, this backpack from DadGear is a good choice for you. We just had our first child 3 weeks ago and were looking for a diaper bag that would allow my hands to be free and also be versatile for both my husband and myself. I use this backpack for everything; my wallet, phone, and keys fit nicely into the outer pocket which has organizing mesh pockets so no extra purse is needed! My husband feels totally comfortable taking his turn wearing it which means there is no need to repack/transfer items to a separate diaper bag. I have a small frame and always have difficulty finding backpacks that don't look ridiculously large on my back but I was very pleased with the size and shape of this bag. I love the easy access to diapers, wipes, and baby bottles. The big clam shell pocket is an excellent design and it provides plenty of storage while still allowing for you to find baby items quickly without shuffling everything around.

I imagine with all the space this backpack would be great for traveling and small enough for an airplane carry-on. The backpack is complete with a padded changing pad and straps to hang from the stroller. The best part is DadGear backpacks are all made in the USA so you can feel good about purchasing a product that supports local jobs and the economy. These bags come in a wide variety of colors and cool designs! Convenient baby wipes window provides easy access to your baby wipes (and fits most major brands). Diaper Hammock keeps diapers at the top of the pack and clean and neat. Spacious main compartment has a clam shell opening for easy access to contents and for replacing the baby wipes. Two large zippered pockets with numerous compartments make it simple to organize and find everything. Two bottle pockets accessible from the exterior hold up to 2 bottles each. Light-colored interior helps you see everything inside. Stroller straps attach to any style stroller and store neatly when not in use.

Durable materials and classic styling ensure this bag will last long after the diapering years. A few things could be improved. The Velcro for the wipe pocket is quite loud and often startles my baby girl when opened. The water bottle side pockets are a bit too small. They fit my water bottle but barely, and my husband's water bottle does not fit. DadGear does offer their own insulated water bottles if for some reason yours does not fit. Still, this is a great product that I would totally recommend!
