daggerfall backpack upgrade

Safeboxes are locked containers containing valuable items which are found across Tamriel. They resemble ornate rectangular silver boxes with a hinged top. Due to the high value of the items found within a safebox, they are always guarded by various NPCs, often including guards. These NPCs will not hesitate to report any players spotted trying to unlock these boxes, so stealth is advised when attempting to steal from one. Safeboxes are equipped with locks ranging from Simple to Master, and higher difficulty locks usually indicate better quality loot. After the lock is picked, the player may take the items within. Safeboxes always contain a leveled amount of gold, and one or two items of at least green quality. The items in a safebox are all marked as contraband, and should be sold to a fence as soon as possible. Safeboxes spawn in fixed locations throughout the world. If a particular spot is empty, the box there may have been recently looted, and will respawn over time. Known safebox spawn points are listed below.

Basically any containers that hold lockpicks and racial crafting ingredients like 'corundum' will have a chance to spawn motif but containers that hold provisioning ingredients will NOT spawn motif.
Here's what I mean: There are 9 motifs that are needed for this achievement- Redguard- Orc- Dunmer- Breton- Wood Elves- Argonian- Khajiit- Nord- AltmerBare in mind you will already have a motif for free of your character race. This achievement is completely dependance on luck but here are a few ways you can get it:- Farming them in containers in places with few guards- Buying them off the guild stores around the world- Buying them with crown (which I highly not recommend)Now you could try and find these as you play but the chance of doing that is exorbitantly low so best is to farm them each day. ( apparently update 1.0.0.5 increased the spawn rate)I play on the Daggerfall Covenant so I only know a place to farm there. If you're in the Daggerfall Covenant then there is a locked house to the left of the Mage guild in Shornhelm. There are a number of containers there and there are no one inside so you won't get caught. Now run around looting every household containers. After each run, relog and everything should respawn.
For Ebonheart, there is a house in Davon's Watch (Stonefalls) that has a backpack, a trunk, and a dresser. Immediately west of Artisan's Row on your map are two unmarked brown houses. The second one is Sadreno's house. ( thanks to Boozor )I recommend picking up stolen goods and fence them at a criminal refuge so your effort is not completely wasted if you don't find a motif. If you do find duplicate of a motif then join a guild and sell them for 4000 gold. Now there is another way to get motif. That's through the guild merchants. There are guild merchants around cities and small settlements with a symbol that looks like a scale.Occasionally there will be one on sale but don't buy them for more than 4000 gold, they're not worth it.Finally, if you're rich in real life then buy crown and get motif there but I recommend not to do so as they're a waste of money. Those are the 3 ways you can get alliance motifs. Remember the chance of finding one is rather rare so don't give up if you don't find any.
If anyone knows a good farming place for Aldmeri Dominion then let me know. Do you have a question about this achievement? Here's how it works: Anybody can ask a question The best answers are voted up and rise to the top I know that you can upgrade your bag size, but is there a place to store items other than your bag, like a chest or a bank? If so, is their a map icon to locate it? There are banks throughout Tamriel, mostly located in large cities. Banks will store both items and gold, and their storage space is upgradeable. But, their space is also shared among all characters across your account; this is useful for transferring items, but also means that if you fill your bank on one character, you won't have that space on any others. The other way you can gain more storage, is by buying a horse. Most horses by default won't provide you any benefit, but once per day you can feed your horse at a stable, which will increase either their speed, stamina, or carrying capacity, depending on what you feed it.
Your horse's carrying capacity bonus is then simply added to the number of items you can carry on that character. Banks will typically appear on your map with the following icon: And Stables will appear with this one: Note that in some cities, there will be several different services offered in a single small building, or the same section of a larger building, all represented with one icon. When this happens, a bank or stable might be present, without their specific icon. Just mouse over the other icons in that part of the map, and it will list all the people at that location, with separate smaller icons for each. I know this is an old thread, but since all of your characters share the bank account, I created a second, completely different character for the sole purpose of storage(my main character is a Bosmer Nightblade in the Aldmeri Dominion and my second is a Breton Templar in the Daggerfall Covenant). I only "cook" when I do the writs so I deposit all of my provision materials in the bank and then have my second character withdraw them to free up the space.
