In order to use a Backpack, the player needs to 'Right-click' with a Backpack in hand (selected in the Hotbar). Another option is to equip the Backpack to the Backpack slot by pressing 'Shift+B', then pressing 'B' to quickly access its inventory. While equipped, the Backpack will be shown on the back of the Player's skin. Also a Player may choose to have the Backpack automatically pick-up nine Item drops of his choosing. To transfer Items directly into a chest from the Backpack, press 'Shift+Right-click'. Backpacks have 27 slots (chest size) and the  Big Backpacks have 54 slots (double chest size). Warning: A Backpack equipped on a Player's back will be destroyed upon the Player's death (1.6.4)

The backpack can hold 2 tools [1], which can easily be swapped with a tool in the hotbar (Shift+Scrolling), the tools show on the backpack's model. The 2 tanks (one on each side) hold 4,000 mB of liquids each and can be manually filled with a bucket or using an Hose from which the Player can suck or spill liquids and even drink [2] for some interesting effects. There is an option in the Config file to add this Backpack to the Bonus chest. Note that the bottom middle ingredient is the Adventure Backpack mod's Sleeping Bag (not a bed and not the Sleeping Bag available with the OpenBlocks mod). Version Checker Mod – Fully supported. Botania – The backpacks are an IBlockProvider, meaning they can supply items to the Rod of the Shifting Crust. Note that it currently doesn’t work with equipped backpacks due to API limitations. Inventory Tweaks – Fully supported. Thaumcraft – All of the items in the mod contain aspects. Open Blocks – If a player is hang-gliding the backpack will not be rendered. Ender Storage – You can right click ender-pouches inside my backpacks to open them directly. Should work with most every other mod as well.
