Gibson Brown Ruled Paper Bonded Leather Journal (MJ5-4792)I have ordered this journal (MJ5-4792) seven times in the past going back to 2013. I use it everyday at work. Until now I would have considered this a 5 star product. The most recent order (8/31/16) however has changed my opinion. The new page design doesn't work for me at all. There are fewer ruled lines per page. I preferred the thinner lines so I could get more writing per page. Also there is now a 1" un-ruled margin. The old version had no un-ruled margins. Again, that means much less writing space for me per page than the old version. The un-ruled margins may work for some people but it's wasted space for me. I will start looking for another product. If CR Gibson sells the old version I will continue to buy that and change my rating to 5 starts. It would have been nice for them to use a different model number if they were going to make this kind of change.
I click "buy again" on Amazon for items that I like, but this is now a different product. They should include a picture of the new page design on the Amazon product page. I have included my own photo which shows the old MJ5-4792 on the left and the new MJ54792 on the right. That’s all we know.He could drive a luxurious Tesla, which is both stylish and eco-friendly.But Mel Gibson - who is reportedly worth over $400m - chose instead to drive a Smart Car when leaving a lunch in Malibu on Sunday. The vehicles start at $12,000. Big star, little car! Mel Gibson walked solo towards his pint-sized Smart car after grabbing lunch in Malibu on SundayFor the meal, the 59-year-old clean-shaven actor teamed a plaid shirt with a pair of dark jeans and sandals.
Mel unbuttoned his top to expose a crisp white undershirt. His grey hair was slicked back. From his silver necklace hung a pair of reading glasses. The Braveheart actor walked solo towards his dark silver car, which he was first seen with in 2011. Cool customer: Mel went casual for lunch and teamed his plaid shirt with dark jeans and sandals Money on mind: Many models of the Smart car start at just $12,000 and rarely exceed $16,000The vehicle is in sharp contrast to the $110,000 Maserati the actor famously crashed in 2010.Mel's purchase may also be considered a strange choice for the star, who owns an island in Fiji. The electric version of the vehicle has also made waves for its decreased environmental impact, as it was named 2015's 'greenest' car by the American Council for an Energy Efficient Economy. Hitting the road: The 59-year-old was first seen driving the car back in 2011 Homeward bound: The actor was no doubt ready to zip off after enjoying a lunch at the Malibu eateryThe actor is no doubt pleased with his purchase, and was even seen arriving to the premiere of The Beaver in 2011 in the car.
Mel will soon be back behind the camera directing the 2016 drama Hacksaw Ridge, which follows the true story of World War II medic and conscientious objector Desmond Doss. The father-of-eight didn't shy away from discussing his directing chops in an interview with Extra, where he reminded fans of his award-winning accolades. The What Women Want actor will be back directing for the upcoming 2016 film Hacksaw Ridge'I'm pretty good at directing…I think I got some statues for it,' Mel said, referring to his Best Picture and Best Director Academy Awards for 1995's Braveheart. The veteran actor added: 'I think I'm a better director than actor...I hope somebody gives me an argument on that.' Mel's acting prowess will soon be put on display in the upcoming film Blood Father, which will be released later this year. In the action thriller he stars as an ex-con who is guarding his teenaged daughter from drug dealers. The film also stars  Elisabeth Röhm, Diego Luna and William H. Macy. The star didn't shy away from discussing his directing skills in an interview with Extra
