and crampons for big winter missions. We strongly recommend that you book ahead to hire hiking equipment for your trip into Fiordland. Booking is essential for all large orders over the NZ summer (between November and March). Send an email containing a list of what you require (including your sizes) to who will check availability. You can also save time by letting us know your preferred payment method. Pay the deposit by: Please leave your name as reference. Note you must use a New Zealand bank account for internet transfers. If you happen to live in Te Anau, just pop over with cash and we will get you all sorted out! Bev will check our stock and send you an invoice for the gear Once we have received your payment we will send you a confirmation that we have reserved the equipment for you! We can send gear nationwide (NZ), but prefer pickups from our shop in Te Anau to ensure proper fitting. You can take gear away and arrange for it to be sent back to our shop.

We can store your vehicle or gear at no additional cost when we have enough space. On site cash is the only method of payment, we don't have an eftpos machine. When hiring equipment we require a deposit such as a passport or a credit card imprint. There are no refunds, unless DOC closes the track.
