That one was ok, this one is amazing. It holds a lot more than it looks. I ditched the foam pistol divider in the lower compartment. I rarely carry four handguns to a range session and getting rid of the divider give me even more room for ammo. Not that I need it. As it sits, you can load this with enough firearms and ammo to make it difficult to lift. I can fit a S&W Victory 22 with its muzzle brake and bolt assist handle inside a case inside the lower compartment.

Guy at the range today commented on what a great looking bag it is (coyote is cool). It's practical, it's well made, the zippers are first rate and it holds more of my range stuff than I thought possible. And it balances well even with one strap on your shoulder. This bag is awesome. I have used it many times to carry almost everything I need to the range in a single bag. It's incredibly useful, for keeping everything organized and easy to access. I'm not sure what some reviewers complain about the pistol compartment as I've carried full size 1911's and CZ 75's in there with no issues. I've carried 4 pistols, 12 or more magazines, three pairs of safety glasses and three sets of ear muffs, UpLULA speed loader, stapler, binoculars, roll of tape, etc. etc. etc. and it handles it all beautifully. I'm almost tempted to buy another just to be prepared if this one every wears out!Only hitch is the lack of water resistance of the bag itself. I know it has a "rain cover" but seems to be smarter to just make the bag water resistant.

I would also suggest a moisture resistant foam for the pistol insert. I noticed my lower end guns (Kimber Ultra Raptor) will rust if left in the bag. Now I can ditch my other ones. You will be satisfied with this range bag. Whoever designed this thought of everything and left room for things the other things you carry. Moving into this bag I found a $35 mag I've been looking for for the last month, lost in my old bag that is half the size.
