The box I received had punctures in it from the inside out, but I hoped for the best. Upon opening the "crate" I discovered some bent brackets, and lots of scratched paint where the steering limiter bracket had punched through the box, and the front forks and fender were severely scratched from being dislodged from their cardboard shipping locators. I bought it to ride the next weekend, so I bought some red paint to prevent it from rusting, and opted not to worry about cosmetics. Assembly instructions are easy to follow, and after adding oil and gasoline she was ready to ride. Upon start up the idle was much too low, and the throttle stop prevents the bike from displaying it's true performance potential.

The idle screw is covered with a plastic cap -pop it out and discard it, the cap is not mentioned in the instructions. The throttle stop/governor can be adjusted however you please, but over revving the engine will result in the need for a new engine ~$100. The clutch made an odd screeching noise after 4 hours of riding in a dusty environment, so I pulled the cover and saw nothing out of the ordinary. I consulted the owners manual, and added a few drops of oil to the clutch idler shaft. Started her up and she was ready to ride again. Everybody at the camp enjoyed taking her for a ride, and considered purchasing one as well. It's a great deal with free shipping and $100 off. This this is such a HUGE upgrade to them you really cant even compare! vesuvius backpack trail mapIt hauls us up hills and off road effortlessly! The build quality on this thing is exactly like what you would expect from a company like Honda. Thick steel used throughout and I noticed the carburetor on mine was MADE IN JAPAN! I have only had it out 3x with the kids since I bought it last weekend but it starts the very first pull every time! Needed an upgrade from my 50cc that I learned to ride on. I cannot say enough amazing things about this bike! It is so much fun to ride and has a lot of power for something so small! It has ZERO shocks yet the seat and huge tires offer enough padding that it doesn't matter! Great for young kids to learn Balance on since it has no clutch or gear changing to worry about.

We have taken these camping and loaded our gear on the bars and even loaded down with me and my camping stuff it still has plenty of power to blaze through trails. Also 1 full tank of gas lasts HOURS of riding. I imagine would last longer the lighter you are and depending on what you're doing. I highly recommend this for older children whom can touch the ground and for adults whom are looking for a fun low cost toy! The price for how awesome this is cannot compare!!!! First, the CT200U is stronger than I thought it would be. There is nothing flimsy on bike. Even the cargo racks are made from strong tube steel and can actually support cargo. They are not just for looks. This is pretty much the trend thought out the bike. Just good quality strong parts comprising a well thought out and designed minibike.

I don't understand how Coleman can make money off of these bikes. They are too well built for $500 dollars. I have build minibikes from kits and parts purchased online. A bike like this with a strong frame, fenders, kickstand, cargo racks, 19in seat, big tires, chain guard, and ignition switch could easily cost $1000 dollars to build and in most cases it wouldn't be as good as this sturdy little Coleman. This is a great minibike for a kid or adult. I am very happy with the purchase and highly recommend this minibike to other buyers. Yes () No ()  Report Yes () No () Larger than expected and glad it was since I am 6' and ~200 lbs (Can easily handle more weight and/or cargo). Easy to put together and only takes about 15-25 minutes out of the box. It will need gas and oil since they come empty. I recommend ethanol free gas since it is not much more and this does not use much gas. Great for trails and off road riding although we ride on the road also. CLUTCH - The clutch started to make a screeching noise, while starting to automatically engage.

It would then start to stall out. If you oil the clutch it works perfectly again and I am planning to continue to oil every, or every few rides. Very easy but don't put in clutch and just at center. Watch the youtube video that's less than 2 minutes if you are not sure where exactly to put the oil. I also adjusted the brake after a few rides and running great. The only problem now is that it is dark and I want to take it for a ride. Guess I will figure out how to strap a light on the front! I saw some on clearance this October '16. Literally within the first 15 minutes the clutch started to squeel at an ungodly level. He drove it for about 20 minutes. Husband notices it was overheating the clutch. The next day it would not start. Within minutes of getting it star5ted clutch would squeel and get caught up and stop running and bike would shut down.
