It would be except for one fatal flaw, the zipper does not stay shut!The zipper is designed such that when fully closed, the bottom edge can very easily become disconnected and then ENTIRE zipper will unravel. I very nearly lost over a $1000 worth of camera equipment because I trusted the zipper. And the backpack is designed such that the compartment will open fully, so if the zipper does fail, it is very likely that all your equipment will come flying out. What is the point of a backpack if you can't trust the zipper?
