osprey isis backpack

, from OhioSummary:Got this pack for my soon-to-be wife. I showed her the Gregory Forester and countless other packs, but they just didn't fit her right. This pack fit her like a glove even before she had it adjusted correctly. The sleeping bag compartment is a little ungainly when zipping it up, but it's a useable size. Also, the zippered removable divider inside the sleeping bag compartment is overkill. A lot of time and energy went into that removable divider....for no good reason. The water holder is really stupid. It WILL hold a water bottle, but it's unstable. She uses it to hold small items; It works well for that. The interchangeble Vector attachments really kick!! It makes the pack very versatile. It's nice and stable as long as you pack it correctly. All-in-all it's a good multipurpose pack. It's pretty tough, and I expect it to last a lifetime of moderate camping and backpacking. It was very important for me to get her a pack that fits and works well for her. Otherwise, I would be backpackng alone.

In 1993, they introduced the first of a long series of backpacks custom made for women, the Isis. One of the reasons that these packs have won so many awards and have avid customers all over the globe is that the innovations they introduced truly changed backpacking and hiking to an affordable, enjoyable sport.

The most important changes have been engineering the backpack frames and hip belts to custom fit the customer who will be using them many times throughout the years.
