3300 John Conley Dr. U.A.W./General Motors — Citywide Members The Citywide Apprentice Committee is a consortium, whose membership consist of UAW union local Apprentice committee members, GM management local Apprentice committee members, from area UAW/GM facilities and Mott Community College staff members. committee meets monthly to discuss Training & Developmental needs that are related to Skilled Trades Apprenticeship Program and the apprentices working in these facilities. The monthly meetings are an open forum to discuss individual plant needs and/or issues. It is also an opportunity to discuss with the Mott Community College staff any educational concerns associated with the apprenticeship process. Often in attendance are representatives from the Department of Labor and other occasional guests. Musicians of the Hartford Symphony People gathered for an unusual lunch hour on Wednesday in support of the musicans of the Hartford Symphony Orchestra.
