All Star DJ Line Up and Live Performances THE 2016 BACKPACK MUSIC FESTIVALin conjuction with TEC-TROITis scheduled the weekend of JUNE 17th, 18th and  19th, 2016. Music is the common thread connecting Art, Education and Technology. Supporters of SCP Michigan and music fans will gather to experience Detroit's musical and visual artistry. This 2016 festival features the city's premier electronic, techno, house, funk and hip-hop DJ's, as well as musical and visual artists. The Annual Backpack Music Festival fundraiser will help provide backpacks and schools supplies to children in need. SCP-Backpacking For Success Impact SCP–BACKPACKING for Success impacts over 1,000 students each year. The program provides free backpacks and various school supplies to for the children of Metro Detroit families in need. In 2016, with your help, the Backpacking for Success Program will reach more than 12,000 students. Kids Got Talent 2016 This year, partnering with MSU-Community Music School, we'll expand the showcase of the metro area young talent.

More than 100 young people are expected to perform throughout the day in support of BPMF. The day will be filled with song, music, dance and spoken word. The talent line up for this stage is expected to be the best ever for BPMF. The Detroit School of Rock & Pop and the MSU Spartan Youth Jazz will be leading the line up and we'll post the entire schedule for this stage soon.
