Don't know the artist or location but this graffiti picture of an 8-bit Zelda made out of post it notes is simply superb. For a comprehensive guide to our site, please see the Site Index. "Step into a world you could not ever imagine ..."Perhaps I would recommend they read it rather than listen to it as I found the narration annoying. The subject matter, however, is so interesting and almost beyond belief. I did not know anything at all about Boliva, the prison system, drug making etc. and I found it almost fantastic. The time the protagonist spent in solitary confinement in the first months he was jailed were riveting. I thought the voice of Thomas was irritating but he did the other character voices well...it was difficult to connect the voice of Thomas to the character he was portraying. It ended properly and did not lead to a sequel. A good story spoiled by an irritating narration. "narrator is not a problem" Many have criticized the choice of narrator, but Thomas is originally from Tanzania and grew up in Liverpool, England, so the narration is spot on.
This book is a MUST!!!!The narration by Adrian Mulraney makes this audio book.. No doubt about it!!!His characters (especially the Aussie and Kiwi) are spot on!!! Adrian makes this audio book very hard to put down... I have mixed emotions about this book, but that's because of the storyline.. "Marching Powder by Rusty Young"foldable backpack qoo10Narrators speak clearly - good recording. dragon or wyvern backpack buyReally cool book - cant wait for moviebeier backpack I agree with some of the other reviewers that the narrator's accent for Thomas was kind of confusing (if he is British, even of African decent, shouldn't his accent sound at least somewhat British?). mefoto backpacker review
But the narrator conveys the story well and in an entertaining manner. I found it riveting. I really enjoyed this. Also, I understand there is a movie adaptation of this in the works. definitely a great listen! one of the better prison stories I've checked out. " An entertaining insight into a very unusual prison. a great listen for those interested in the subject.
Why was Master Splinter narrating this? Why happened to the charming Brit from the prologue? You know, the one who sounds like the writer and helps immerse you in the story? Best book I have listened to. Well written, funny, great. "WAOW - next stop Bolivia!" This is an amazing book simply for it's shock factor... I still can't believe San Pedro exists Very interesting story about a very strange prison and a very corrupt country Definitely recommend "A truly gripping tale!!" Wow this was such an interesting listen. I was gripped from the start! I enjoyed the narration.Thank you for telling your story! Great insight into the world of smuggling and the corruption that goes on in these South American prisons!! "love this story, and the reader is brilliant!" I really enjoyed the story, I flew through it in no time. I really felt that I knew Thomas by the end of the book, and many of the other characters as well. I want sure if the way it was broken down initially with the introduction part by Rusty, but by the end it made perfect sense to do it this way.
I forget the name of the reader, but he was brilliant. I really felt that it was Thomas himself telling me the story. one of my favourite books finally in audio. Read brilliantly I can't wait until this comes out as a film Great book 100% worth a read! The story entices to read listen more and more really enjoyed the story, and believed every word said and could feel the passion from the narrator Wanted Thomas to sound like a scouser. All the americans and ausies sound the same otherwise 5 * book "An insight into the prison live abroad" It was gripping and kept you entertained, felt sad when it finished and in different life would go to see the prison.description The requested resource is not available.GTA V PS4Brand: Rockstar GamesOriginal PriceRs.3,246This is the best priceFINAL PRICERs.3,246 June 14, 2011   Subscribe The game with the never-ending development cycle, Duke Nukem Forever, saw its North American release today.Reviews and reactions have been pouring in the last few days and the consensus is not very favorable to say the least.
Initial impressions from Kotaku: "...pending a dramatic improvement in the game's latter levels, which will embarrass this initial impression into being the inverse of some unimaginably glowing Kotaku review, what we've got here is no magnificent resurrection. It's more of reanimated corpse, a shambling, shivering thing of the past, thought dead but now brought back." Hardware Heaven highlights some good: "The shooting mechanic works ... The controls are responsive, the graphic/sound acceptable and we noticed no bugs when playing the PC version... Past that though there is very little to say about it in a positive way." Destructiod is not so kind: "The reality of Duke Nukem Forever is that it's absolute garbage that should have stayed confined to the bowels of Development Hell." Ars Technica sums it up: "The game seems only to exist in order to do things like show a pair of twins performing fellatio on the main character." At least Gamestop will still honor your pre-order.
