It's beautiful, well-made, and looks (and is) super expensive. It's a little on the small side, so do pay attention to the dimensions. The fabric and quality is exactly what I would expect from Tumi. The gold hardware makes it dressy enough to use as a handbag. The multiple pockets are perfect for your cell phone, wallet, makeup,books, magazines, iPad, laptop and lots of other goodies. I really love the flap on the back which allows you to securely place the backpack on the handle of your suitcase. It easily fits under an economy seat on an airplane too. Every recipient has loved this gift. It's especially perfect for the guy who has everything! I was a little concerned that this bag would not be cute or not look luxe enough, but this bag is absolutely perfect. bamfield backpackIt is lightweight, and a really nice size, and the pockets make life so much easier. costco rio backpack chairThe black is a nice nylon fabric, not shiny-- more matte to be honest, but not matte enough to look like plastic. camelbak backpack loboThe leather zipper pulls and gold hardware are a nice luxe touch. badlands backpack 2200The bag is big enough for a camera, an iphone, and ipad, wallet, lipstick, keys, spare iphone charger/battery pack, and you could also probably fit in a book if you really wanted to.

That said, unless you really stuff it in, it doesn't look bulky. Posted: Jan 23, 2017 This is a beautiful backpack however I returned it because it was smaller than I anticipated. It seemed to be as large as a medium sized handbag. There isn't an easy to access outside pocket for a phone, just the large zipper pocket on the front. If you want a classy looking and lightweight bag to use hands-free, this might work for you. I also felt it was too expensive to not be the perfect bag. I love all of the interior and exterior pockets, it makes it easy to stay organized and the fact that it can slide over your suitcase and stay secured is invaluable! Posted: Jan 19, 2017 I needed a new, larger wristlet when I got my iPhone 7 Plus. I put my phone in one of the zippered pockets, and my keys and card case in the other. It's perfect to take to yoga, they gym or short errands.

(Never leave valuables in your car people - at the gym especially! Smash-and-grabbers know it's the place to go. I've seen it too many times.) I can definitely fit more than keys/cards/phone in it if I need to, it naturally expands with the two pockets and the space in between. I knocked off one star because it is pretty casual. I was hoping to find something that could also work for dressier occasions, but I think the nylon makes it too casual - even in the solid black color. I love this backpack. I was looking for something to use for a carry on that could hold my purse and other things that I could slide under the seat. I hate gate checking bags, and there are several things I need to carry. The khaki was gorgeous, looking more like a shimmering gold. I tried the smaller version of another Tumi pack, but it was too small and didn't have as many internal or external pockets. I could easily carry this as a larger purse on a daily basis, but probably won't. It was very comfortable on my shoulder in spite of being loaded down for my trip.
