Lets' face it, every mother has a favorite child, and the Circuit is ours. We don't think there is any pack out there that can compare to the load carrying capabilities, comfort and durability of the Circuit, while still weighing less than 41 ounces.(Cordura Camo will increase the weight about 2 ozs) If you have your total pack weight down around 30 pounds, and want to feel the freedom of traveling light, this is the pack for you. Sewn with our nearly indestructible ULA 210 Robic fabric, solid robic side pockets and a huge mesh front pocket, this pack will take the abuse of a 2500-mile hike and beg you for more.
The Circuit utilizes a 1.2 oz carbon fiber and Delrin suspension hoop in conjunction with a dense internal foam frame and a single aluminum stay to give excellent back panel support and maximum load control, weight transfer, and pack rigidity without limiting your range of movement. The Circuit can also be ordered with a 12"18"adjustable harness system that works great for kids. In fact, the youngest person ever to backpack all 2663 miles of the Pacific Crest trail was carrying a Kids Circuit. ppine from minden, NV United States People often like to discuss all the different packs they need for day trips, overnights and longer backpacking trips. The Circuit is light enough for a day trip, and has the load carrying capacity for up to a week for light packers. It is more comfortable than my current day packs. I will be donating some packs to the Boy Scouts, because this pack can do it all. One thing you hear some people complain about is how 'strappy' the pack is. I've got about 60 days of use fully loaded now, and am glad the straps are long. You really do need to loosen up all the straps to get a good fit and get it on and off easily. This is especially true of the load leveler straps. I run them down through the water bottle holders on the shoulder straps to keep them out of the way.
In short, if you try to save a few grams by cutting the straps shorter, you'll regret it. 4 of 4 people found the following review helpful: Robert Williams from Reno, NV United States I just returned from  a 600 mile walk across Spain on the Camino de Santiago. I carried a ULA Circuit with a weight of 22 pounds. The pack was perfect. After a few days i did not even notice the weight.I also used this pack last summer for multible week long trips on the JMT.best dye packs neverwinter Ryan from CA, United Statesjansport uga backpack Well made, lightweight, smart design, comfortable and versatile. thule crossover backpack cheapGarcia bear can fits vertically on top of my quilt, clothes and odd bits of gear pack nicely around the can and there's room for my DSLR and a couple of small lenses before I roll the top down and buckle her shut.
Hip belt pockets are big (iPhone 6+ in a Lifeproof NUUD case is about as big an item as I'd want to throw in there) and easy to open/close, side pockets accommodate two 1ltr. Smart Water bottles a side, and the big mesh front pocket is the perfect place to stow whatever I might need throughout the day. No complaints after 5 or 6 overnighters and an 8 day walk through the High Sierra in CA. I pulled out the aluminum stay and took off the water bottle holders on the shoulder straps, easy and reversible mods. Thanks for the great pack guys! High Quality, Dependable, and Lightweight I've Logged hundreds of miles with this pack. I've been through the high sierras, the cascades, the canyons of utah and arizona, and everywhere in between, and this pack still looks brand new. The construction is very lightweight compared to most packs its size and doesn't have all of the silly bells and whistles found on most of the mainstream brands. The stitching shows careful attention and the frame is comfortable even when loaded to max weight.
I expect this pack to continue to serve me for many more years to come.In 2001 Ultralight Adventure Equipment (ULA) was started by Pacific Crest Trail hiker Brian Frankle, who saw a need for durable yet light weight backpacking equipment. Nine years later nearly half the hikers completing this arduous 2650 mile trail are carrying a ULA pack. Our reputation for quality, innovation and customer service have given us a worldwide reputation that is second to none. ULA is one of the few remaining U.S. based backpack companies who manufacture in house. Our factory in Logan Utah enables us to be extremely responsive to our customers ever changing needs.
