wildcraft ace 21 l laptop backpack price

I'm trying to figure out how I should translate the 'capacity in litres' of luggage into kilograms. I have a 20L-capacity backpack and I want to buy a piece of luggage that'll help me utilize my free baggage allowance (30 kg) for my next trip. I'm guessing 1 litre doesn't equal 1 kilogram, given it doesn't make much sense that some luggage advertises having a capacity of 100 litres. How do you measure it? Any help would be much appreciated :) I have always liked the explanation here It doesn't matter what size your bag is, its the weight of the things you put in it that's important. a 20litre bag is pretty small, my small rucksack I carry during the day is 40litres. I'm trying to figure out how I should translate the 'capacity in litres' of luggage into kilograms. One liter of water weighs one kilogram. Of course, one liter of air weighs much less (virtually nothing). What one liter of clothing weighs is well, what type of clothes you pack.
I suspect one liter of basic shirts, vests. jeans/trousers, socks and underwear weighs a lot less than one liter of shoes. (yes I'm an engineer) The bag I take as checked luggage is 40 litres. Typically weighs 11-13kg fully packed. That includes the fact it's a backpack / wheelie combo. It's like asking which weighs more, a pound of feathers or a pound of lead! 30 kg is a huge amount of luggage. I usually take a 55-litre backpack, weighing about 9 kg. Since it's a backpack (and I'm a rather short woman), and I sometimes walk with it all day, I don't want it any heavier than that. I can't imagine why anyone would want to take 30 kg! I assume it's a wheelie suitcase and not a backpack, but even so, what are you planning on taking?! Even if you're going for three months, you don't really need more clothes and toiletries than you would take for a week. < It's like asking which weighs more, a pound of feathers or a pound of lead! > Feathers - they have air caught in them that ups the weight.
Of course if it was on the moon... 30kg is an incredibly large amount of stuff. I've gone on backpacking trips where I carried tents, two weeks of food, clothes, sleeping bags, a stove, cooking pot, utensils, etc., and it still did not add up to 30kg. My gold bars reach 30kg with the bag only a quarter full.It depends on what you put in the bag. Lets assume clothes weigh half that of waterbackpack kingdoms of amalur So as US business traveller has explainedranger hardshell 16 laptop backpack-silver IKg of water has a volume of one litre.backpack runescape 2007 Let science be your friend with this problemnpo backpack gemist
So you want to maximise your luggage allowance at 30kgs Therefore if clothes weigh half that of water then 1kg of clothes would have a volume of 2 litres. Therefore you need a container with a volume of sixty litres There are size restrictions 90x75x43 is quoted by British Airways as the maximum size before you pay extra. Which is about 27 litres So that's too small by over halfhot topic beemo backpack So a sixty litre bag is not for you , its way too big and expensive.esg backpack But why not do what everyone else doesaarn backpack Buy a regular size suitcase as above measurements And use science to help you solve the problem Put twice as many clothes as you could possibly need weighing no more than 30kgs including weight of case into the case.
Try to close the lid and by getting your biggest pal to sit on it. Its a scientific fact You can't squeeze water But you can squeeze lots of clothes into a small space Edited: 21 July 2014, 03:55Thank you so much for answering my question and helping me out. About why I need 30kg, I'm moving abroad for a year, with no intention of buying much over there because I'll be on a budget, and I want to bring as many things as possible without going overweight :) Manchester > London > Shanghai worries and queries US Customs - taxes/duties US preclearance in Abu Dhabi Do you brush you teeth/shower on/after long-haul flights? Laptop Bags Hong Kong: Wrapping your laptop in style Today, you can find laptops bags in nearly every shape and size, material and price range. But what should you take into consideration when you purchase a laptop bag? In this section, we discuss the main things you need to keep an eye on when you are looking for bag, the functionality and the features, as style is left to the eye of the beholder. Will your bag be exposed to different elements? As this bag is for your laptop, you should look for something that covers your bag. No to open ended totes and slings. This is important considering you spent most of your time outdoors, no matter rain or shine. How long will you be using that bag? The wear and tear of a bag depends on its material.
If you are looking at using the bag everyday and for everything, you should look for a bag made from leather, neoprene or polyester. Your laptop bag should be able to last as long as you need it to last. Will you be carrying other stuff besides your laptop in your bag? The size of your bag will depend on what you plan to carry in your bag. A laptop bag should naturally be able to carry your laptop and its power cable. If you are a student, you will need a bag that is big enough for your laptop and books. And if you are in and out of meetings, you would need a bag that does not spoil your documents. Other things to consider: Seams and stitches: How thick are the threads? The location of the seams, are they inside the bag or outside? Lining: Your bag is likely to see more bumps and drops, so it’s best to choose something that incorporates some sort of protective lining in the bag. Zippers: Make sure the zip does not feel too cheap and it is not too tough or too easy to pull in either direction.

These laptop sleeves are one of the most of the most sought-after styles that are extremely versatile. Here are some reasons why you should trade the bag for a sleeve. Turn any bag into a laptop bag: If your bag is without a built-in laptop compartment, fret not, with a laptop sleeve, you laptop would still be far from harm in that particular bag. This means, you can turn your favourite tote bag, messenger bag or even your school backpack that you have in your wardrobe in to a laptop bag. Just place your bag in a sleeve first before placing it in your bag. Carry what you need without any bulk: For those days when you just want your laptop and the power cable with you, a laptop sleeve is all you need. The sleeve provides adequate protection for your computer without the bulk of a traditional laptop bag. So, in conclusion, no matter if it is a laptop bag or a laptop sleeve, it is extremely necessary to keep your laptop secured and safe from harm’s way.
