Should we secure funding for this, we will post a notice on our website. Stagger Straight Community Emegency Shelter The Stagger Straight Community Emergency Shelter houses adult men and women 7 nights per week, 52 weeks per year. The cost of staying at Stagger Straight is $2.00 per night. Stagger Straight residents may rent a storage locker for $15 per month. Those guests already registered may reserve their bed for the following night, however, if the guest does not check in by 7:00 p.m. their bed may be available to a new guest.

Stagger Straight has 45 beds, a segregated sleeping area for women who wish to be separated from the common sleeping area, and a designated women's bathroom. There are no shower facilities available yet. Check in is 6:00 p.m. and check out is 7:00 a.m. The shelter is located at 531 Madison Avenue (off Miller Valley) near the Post Office. Locally, the influential women of the Women's Leadership Council network and advocate to support United Way by giving, volunteering, and inspiring others to join in creating lasting change for our community. For the 2015/2016 and 2016/2017 fiscal years, they have committed their support to fundraising for Breakfast in the Classroom through sponsorship and relationship cultivation, becoming community ambassadors for the Breakfast in the Classroom program and hosting the annual We are United Luncheon.
