"They're definitely excited for the new year, and we're all thrilled about the back-to-school supplies they got from WWP." Participants mingled with fellow wounded veterans and family members as they browsed through the selection of school supplies. The potential to form new friendships with peers supports the long-term recovery needs of warriors by reintroducing them to the bonds experienced during military service. The interaction can be beneficial to the families, too. "Outings like this are important because they let my kids know they aren't the only ones who deal with certain things," Jason said. "It also gives them a feeling of pride for me for serving our country.

A few days later, a suicide bomber driving a van crashed into the side of the Humvee, triggering an explosion that killed three civilians. “Everything was on fire,” recalls Brent. “I was burning, butI had to look down and make sure my legI crawled out of the Humvee and rolled off to the ground just as the ammo started to explode.” With a broken pelvis and tissue damage to his leg, Brent was treated in a Baghdad hospital before being

flown to Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. You're still a soldier, so you have an obligation not toYour family is counting on you.Who We AreThe All Academy & ROTC Parents Club was organized in 2003 by a group of parents and friends of college students who attend our nation's service academies, or who will be commissioned as officers when they graduate from colleges where they participate in ROTC programs.

We are a non-profit, tax-exempt 501(c)3 Tennessee-based organization whose volunteer membership comprises parents and friends of these students, as well as previous graduates from these institutions.Our MissionOur Mission is to support students and the families of those attending the United States Military Academy, the United States Naval Academy, the United States Air Force Academy,  The United States Coast Guard Academy, the United States Merchant Marine Academy, and those students from Tennessee that are enrolled in a ROTC program or prep school.We assist our nations service academies in their efforts to identify and recruit high school students interested in pursuing a military education, and educate the community about these opportunities.We hold events during the year that raise money in support for the Wounded Warrior Project (WWP).  New for 2016, our club will also support Operation Stand Down Tennessee.  Our major fundraising event is the All Academy & ROTC Ball held annually in December to raise funds for our Nation's veterans.
