If you need to send paperwork to the school/business office, or to a sports coordinator, it is easiest to send it via backpack mail. Simply address the envelope with the name of the recipient. (If the intended recipient is a parent, note their child’s name and homeroom on the envelope.) Parishioners help in many ways and the sign up has become easy through our Sign Up Genius webpage. The coordinator checks before the weekend that all support roles will be filled, is a presence on Friday evening and on Saturday morning and makes sure all supplies are stored away.  There is an overall coordinator, too, who assists with the training of new coordinators and is available as a resource when the coordinator is "on duty".  We are also currently looking for someone who will be willing to be the overall coordinator of the program. If you think this is a way you are being called to serve, please call Joan Turnure at 314-221-7408 for more information.   There are lots of volunteer opportunities available for everyone! Visit the for game booth shifts and more volunteer sign ups coming soon! : Jen Moritz, 314-909-6756, -This year we are once again asking the St. Louis community and St. Peter parish to support our “Back-To-School” backpack give-a-way program to help needy children prepare for the coming school year.
Participating individuals and families are asked to donate a backpack filled with school supplies. Please take one of the “Backpack Tags” on display in the gym vestibule. Each tag lists the supplies needed for one backpack for one child. (Please NO ALL red or ALL blue backpacks.) Parish families are encouraged to “adopt” one child (or more!) and shop for this child as a family. When you’ve completed your school supply shopping, simply tie the tag on your backpack and bring it to 450 Burns Avenue. Please leave it on the front porch any day before July 22. Don’t have time to shop? Donors are able to purchase a pre- assembled backpack with school supplies at American Student Supply. /SPC-Backpack-Giveaway These donations will be delivered directly to St. Patrick Center.
