buy backpack kingdom of amalur

Nothing kills a two-hour looting buzz like having to stop in the middle of a dungeon and meticulously manage your inventory. Thankfully, there are several vendors throughout the Faelands who will happily support your hoarding addiction with extra backpacks, and we know where to find them. We’ve tracked down every one of these elusive sellers so that you can focus less on all the useless crap you’re carrying and more on all the side quests you’ve accepted! If you don’t have any points invested in the mercantile skill, your first backpack will cost 7,500 gold, and each successive one will cost slightly more than the last. Each backpack increases your maximum inventory size by 10.You can find this bag in Gohart, the game’s first town. Enter The Corner Shop and speak to Rikka Egest behind the counter.Ysa isn’t immediately accessible. You can enter only after accepting the “Old Friends New Foes” main quest. Thankfully, that quest occurs fairly early on in the game. Once inside Ysa, go to Askers Alley and speak to Riona Helt, who stands in the center of the room.
Adessa is at the southernmost point of Detyre, in Apotyre. Find Domus Politica on the west side of the city’s first plaza, and find Senecer Macit inside. If he’s not wandering the main area of Domus Politica, he’ll be sleeping in his bed upstairs. Just look for the shop symbol on your map.Rathir is the massive city in the northeastern part of the Plains of Erathell. Enter and head for the Upper City. Once there, find Scholia Arcana and enter its Main Hall. Wil Donall can be found there, and he’s selling a backpack.Mel Senshir is the first city you’ll come across in Klurikon. However, you can’t actually cross the water to reach it until you progress far enough in the main questline. Once there, look for Illyn Doldran. He’s near the center of the area, and it’s hard to miss him.The Teeth of Naros DLC features an additional backpack for purchase. Once you have access to the city of Idylla, go to the Idylla market and speak to Ampelio. She sells a backpack for between 5000-6000 gold.
In Kingdoms of Amalur, your character starts out with 70 slots of inventory. It sounds like a lot, but when every other dead brownie or kobold earns you a new pair of pants, it's only a matter of time before you're knee-deep in knickers and pantaloons. I've found one item for sale, a "Backpack" that increases my inventory by 10 slots, but I'm wondering if there are any other ways (or more backpacks!) that can do this. I want to loot ALL THE THINGS! How else can I increase my inventory in Kingdoms of Amalur? Is there a limit to the maximum number of backpacks I can acquire?! As you noted, you can buy a backpack to add 10 storage to your inventory. Backpacks are available from merchants in several of the major towns. Sterno and other users confirm that they do stack. Purchasing one from Gorhart takes you to 80 and buying the one in Ysa bring you to 90, and so on. The following vendors sell backpacks: Rikka Egest (at The Corner Shop in Gorhart) Riona Helt (at Asker's Alley in Ysa)
Wil Donall (at Main Hall of Scholia Arcana in Rathir) Senecer Macit (at Domus Politica in Adessa) Illyn Doldran (in Mel Senshir) Ampelio (at Idylla Market in Idylla, in the Teeth of Narros DLC)sloth backpack hot topic Since backpacks don't show as inventory items, you can't use them to increase your stash, unfortunately.300 mph backpack blower I've run around picking 3 up so far and im up in 100 slots so yeah it stacks :)fenway backpack rules Use a hex editor to edit your save. radian rxt backpack straps Sorry, I didn't quote anything in my previous post but thank you for politely pointing that out :) pivoter backpack
I didn't quote anything because 1) I wasn't sure I could even post without an account and 2) the quote would have been quite lengthy. I'm not great with the whole "coding my posts" to make cool links, but I appreciate you taking them time to do that for me.mcm backpack agnes monica I hex edited my save today (I'm on PC by the way) and I currently have a max inventory of over 10 million. newt 15 laptop backpackI'll try to come back and provide a screenshot for proof, but it's already past my bedtime :P The link I provided doesn't seem to be getting around much on the internet so I thought I'd share it here. I also realize I'm a bit late to the party (two months after the last post in here), but this is by far the best solution out there; if you don't consider hex edits cheating. I hope my comment was useful for you guys.
I figured my brief statement and the link were a clear and concise way of relaying the info. Please think of the content over the format before down voting my post into oblivion. I only posted it here to get the info out to you guys. Happy gaming two legs!Browse other questions tagged kingdoms-amalur-reckoning or ask your own question.Go to Mel Senshir, and save your game. Then, kill the Dokkalfar merchant to the left of where you spawn. Pay the fine or go to jail. Go to one of your houses, and sleep for four days. Go back to Mel Senshir, and the Dokkalfar merchant you killed should have respawned with new inventory. You can now buy a new backpack. Repeat this as many times as desired. Note: Try killing the merchant close to where he is supposed to be since when he respawns he will appear wherever he initially dropped. Make Corgan Hold available for fast traveling. It is in the western edge of Tala-Rane, in the Plains of Erathell. Just inside the door of Corgan Hold is a shrine that gives +20% XP for a limited time.
Activate the shrine, go back outside, then fast travel to your next quest or dungeon to earn easy additional XP while the shrine is active. Salvage garnered from items is randomized. Thus, save the game before you salvage a weapon or armor at the Forge. If you like the components harvested, save the game. If you do not like them, load your previous save, and try again. Any traps laid in the Combat Training arena before beginning training will remain there once it begins. Thus, if you are struggling to beat any record, lay traps before you begin training. They will damage and slow down enemies during training, allowing you to kill them more quickly and easily. Do not hold "D" while picking locks; instead, tap it fast to advance. If you see the lockpick slightly moving, stop and change lockpick positions. Start from the left or right, and when the lockpick is about to brake (it will twitch), stop and try again after you moved him for 1/4 of a scale. This trick requires some practice, but once you master it, you will not need to spend attribute points on lockpicking.
If you are trying to loot a chest while in Stealth mode and the percentage of being caught is too high/risky, simply press B to back out of the chest inventory, and then press A to loot the chest again. The percentage of risk should have decreased. You can keep repeating this process until you have zero risk of being caught. When starting Story mode, you are asked if you would like to skip the tutorial. Choose "Don't skip", and play the demo. Reach the Rock Troll, and defeat it. Then, loot the troll to get a ring you would not have gotten by skipping the tutorial. Before entering a house or dungeon, save the game. If you do not like or need the items found, simply reload your saved game to change the randomly generated loot in the house or dungeon. When you need armor or weapons repaired, do not pay smiths to do the repairs, as they charge a lot. Instead, simply buy as many Repair Kits as possible from merchants. Once you are approximately ten hours into the game, they should be pretty easy to find.
Try finding backpacks to have more room to carry them. Using Repair Kits should save you a lot of gold, especially once you acquire rarer weapons and armor that are expensive to have repaired at a smith. Take stolen items to a merchant (fence) that buys stolen merchandise. Sell them a stolen item, and without exiting the "Buy/Sell" screen, go back to the "Buy" option. Scroll down to "Sold Items", and buy the item back for the same amount you sold it. The red hand icon will now be gone from the item. In "The Legend Of Dead Kel" downloadable content, once you get the "Pet Training" option, you normally cannot train more than three pets. When asked to select a pet to discard, select the "Raise Pets" option (it is the middle option on the left side). You should now be able to select the option to train another pet. You can train all possible pets using this method. This trick requires a bow (preferably with weaker stats) and long sword. You must be able to perform the Upheaval move for the long sword, which is one of the first and most useful sword moves in the game.
