Which I will be doing in the near future in my never-ending quest to reduce the apparel section of my luggage. To save space in my backpack, I used it to store and compress sandals and bulky jackets. It is a compression sack with five dividers, allowing people, like me, to keep their dirty, smelly, grungy, disgusting, cloths away from other things in the bag. I immediately knew it would be a great thing for traveling, but I didn’t appreciate how useful it would be in other aspects of life as well. It was a tight squeeze but I managed to get it all in, which astounded me! When I cinched the ends closed I found they wouldn’t fully close, but did cinch enough to stop everything falling out. Next, I clipped the compression strap buckles together and gave a good yank on the straps to compress the roll. I managed to get some compression to reduce the diameter, as shown in the photo. the plastic bag I pack clothes in always worked fine before…I’ve now been carrying the Hoboroll for two months across Asia and like it more and more every day.
