Sell them a stolen item, and without exiting the "Buy/Sell" screen, go back to the "Buy" option. Scroll down to "Sold Items", and buy the item back for the same amount you sold it. The red hand icon will now be gone from the item. In "The Legend Of Dead Kel" downloadable content, once you get the "Pet Training" option, you normally cannot train more than three pets. When asked to select a pet to discard, select the "Raise Pets" option (it is the middle option on the left side). You should now be able to select the option to train another pet.
